Who We Are
-
DuYe Moves is our love letter to New York City, a micro-institution on Governors Island dedicated to fostering a "beloved community" through free, accessible arts. Our mission is to create a sanctuary where all—from renowned artists to first-time visitors—can create, connect, and belong. Since 2023, we've grown from a single dance program to a full-spectrum arts house, serving over 10,000 visitors and providing a free, non-transactional venue for scores of artists. What began as a single dance program has grown into a multidisciplinary sanctuary with wellness, music, and artist development.
-
Integrity, creativity, and empathy shape the way we work. These aren't just words—they’re the foundation of everything we build.
-
We believe in keeping things simple, smart, and human. Every project starts with listening and ends with something we're proud to share.
